Following an enquiry at Little Griffins, the Nursery Manager or Deputy will contact a prospective parent to arrange a visit to view the nursery facilities and meet the staff. Nursery ‘settles’ can also be arranged for each child to visit and spend a short period within their allocated room to ensure every child is eased in to their new environment by meeting the children and staff. Sessions can then be agreed between the manager and parent.
Upon entry, parents will be asked to complete an induction form providing information regarding their child’s medical history and personal information. Relevant paperwork will also need to be completed, i.e consent forms. All parents will then be issued with a nursery planner providing information about the nursery setting and nursery policies. This is also used on a daily basis to ensure communication between parents and staff at all times.
