Join us for an Open Day and Discover

Beech Hall School

Set in 16 beautiful acres on the edge of the Peak District National Park, Beech Hall School offers a distinct and exciting alternative to larger independent schools. We are a non-selective independent school for boys and girls aged 6 months to 18 years and a proud member of the award-winning Chatsworth Schools family.

Our next Open Day is on Friday 17th November and we would be delighted if you could join us there!

Stages of Learning

Early Years

The children follow the Early Years Foundation stage from birth to 5 years and are encouraged to develop at their own pace in a caring, supportive atmosphere.

Infant and Junior School

The children in our Infant and Junior sections benefit from a broad curriculum that really engages them.

Senior School

Our Junior School pupils progress smoothly onto the Senior School and at the end of Year 8 pupils usually choose nine or ten of these subjects to study at GCSE.

Set in 16 beautiful acres on the edge of the Peak District National Park, Beech Hall School offers a distinct and exciting alternative to larger independent schools.

A nurturing environment

Beech Hall is a small but perfectly formed school with a family feel where pupils enjoy coming to school and thrive in our nurturing and supportive environment.

Tailored learning

Our small classes and a focus on each and every child enables Beech Hall pupils to fulfil their potential both in the classroom and beyond it.

Extra-curricular opportunities

A balanced focus on academic attainment, sporting opportunities, artistic endeavour, individual strengths and a celebration of traditional values are at the core of Beech Hall.

Sport is an integral part of school life

All Beech Hall pupils participate in individual and team sports and are able to use our outdoor swimming pool, where pupils train for our annual Channel swim raising money for Mencap.
