Time to Explore

The second room in the journey through Beech Hall Nursery. Once our babies are walking confidently they move onto Oak Room and begin to explore!

The children start the day with group time, including our morning song. They develop their skills with play-doh, music & movement and outdoor learning. With more space to develop their sensory skills and plenty of toys to meet the new stage in their development, focusing on social interactions and communication skills.

Sensory experiences continue in Oak Room and include touch, smell and even taste, usually based on termly themes and diligently recorded in each child’s Learning Journal.
