The countdown to School begins!
Wow! there’s never a dull moment in Pre-School, our days are jam packed full of fun and learning.
When children move into our Pre-School room they begin to wear a uniform, to get them ready for life at school.
Pre-School eat their dinner in our school dining room, and team up with our Infant department for some of their lessons, and are taught music with the school’s music teacher.
In addition to following the EYFS, we also follow the Jolly Phonics programme. Regular observations are done on each child to monitor their growing development, each child is treated as an individual and we encourage independence and their own self-esteem.
Outdoor Learning is a big part of Pre-School. Forest School is especially popular as our children love to explore the woodland area and have a dedicated section of outdoor space, including a very special Fairy Tree which the children love to visit and decorate.
Further Activities include; Welly Walks, Playdough Disco, Creative Dance, Swimming in the outdoor swimming pool (during the summer term)
Beech Hall Pre-School caters for all seven areas of learning:
- Personal, Social & Emotional.
- Communication and language.

- The staff promote independence in your child, and with your help and support, prepare your child for graduating Pre-School and starting school.
It’s the perfect environment for all children to make the transition from nursery to pre-school and on to primary school.

“We put our child into Beech Hall to help him develop socially and to adapt and deal with the academic challenges he faced throughout his early years before Beech Hall. He’s come out as a well-rounded and balanced young adult thanks to the holistic care of the School and the unsurpassable leadership of James Allen and his Staff. “
